7 Street Style Trends from the Fall 2023 Menswear Shows to Inspire Your Winter Fits
Everything, Everywhere, All At Once is the title of one of 2022’s best movies, but it also applies to the state of street style, based on the looks captured by Acielle Tanbetova and Phil Oh at the fall 2023 menswear collections. The runways had a focused and exact message this season: tailoring (more on that later this week when our trend report drops), but on the street it’s still anything going.
For a minute there during the pandemic, showgoers toned down on the outlandish and opted for “normal” everyday styling. Not anymore. Much of what was trending this season was about getting the shot. Balaclavas and kooky winter headwear lead the pack, and, rather strangely considering the frigid temps in Paris, we saw more than one pair of shorts. Optic whites and warm cream tones were the season’s pick for monochrome looks, and painterly top coats were go-to’s to add visual interest. Closer to the runway’s point of view were attendees in full suits—ties included. As usual, there were a variety of takes on the two-piece, but tradition spoke the loudest.
Read through for 7 street style trends from the fall 2023 menswear season to inspire your winter looks (except maybe the shorts, but you do you).
